Now hiring full- and part-time high school teachers
Chesterton Academy of Bowling Green, a joyfully Catholic classical high school, seeks talented and dynamic teachers to join our team for our founding school year, 2026-2027. Both full- and part-time opportunities are available in the following subjects:
Literature, history, philosophy, theology, Latin, Spanish, mathematics, science, music, art, and drama.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree with coursework in the relevant subject is required. Three to five years of teaching experience is preferred, as well as experience with and a passion for classical Catholic education. Applicants capable of teaching more than one subject will be given strong consideration.
Teachers shall be Catholics in good standing, who are committed to the Catholic faith and to Christian living, and who are registered members of a Catholic parish. In rare cases, other Christians may work at Chesterton Academy of Bowling Green if they have a positive attitude toward the Catholic faith and are registered members of their particular non-Catholic parishes. All employees are expected to live a lifestyle consistent with Church teaching.
In addition to their teaching responsibilities, faculty at Chesterton Academy of Bowling Green will participate in the House system, which is designed to promote character and virtue, and help students grow in holiness. Faculty members are required to attend all school Masses and prayer and liturgical activities and assist in leading spiritual retreats and other activities.
